The heat is back on UAE’s elite champions, standing their ground against Australia and UK’s best of the best. KO Promotions have for the fifth time in Dubai collaborated a team to fight it out at the next big fight night, headlining once again another WKBF World title fight, a WKBF Pan Asia Muay Thai title fight and for the first time in the UAE, a Mod Muay Thai Tag Team event.
The Main event of the night is between two very experienced Champions. UAE’s representative will be 4 x Karate international champion and WBL Middle east Muay Thai Champion, Najmeddin “Scorpion” Al Hadad. On a mission from Australia to steal away Al Hadad’s chance of a long awaited World title is WKBF Commonwealth Champion and South Pacific Champion, Ben “Bullrider” Burrage.
Taking the ring by storm in the Tag Team Title bout is UAE Thai Boxing Champions, George “Thai-Tanium” Micouris and Al Hussan “Ghanian Van Damme” Okine. These exciting talents of Dubai have teamed up to face another electrifying duo from the neighbouring Sharjah. This bout is sanctioned with rules that set up the successors to be whoever will best combine their efforts to out class, out wit and out box the other partnership.
There are two female bouts on the card. The first is the only Full Muay Thai rules bout on the card. The ladies will battle it out for the WKBF Pan-Asia Title. This tough-women competition will be between Middle East Champion Kerry “The Cockney” Bennett and Australia’s NSW Thai boxing Champion, Jane “Princess of Pain” Wilson.
The second of the female bouts and hitting it out for the first time is Dubai resident and Emirates cabin crew beauty, Lisa Redman who has been training Thai boxing since she was a teenager but has never had the opportunity to test her skills. Redman will be matched up against Maz Murphy who comes from a Brazilian Jujitsu background but the ladies will be Boxing it out on the night.
Also in the KO Fight team are some former Marine Commando’s Simon Young and Scott Wilcox who will showcase their expertise skill in the undercard of the event. At another extreme an accountant, James “The Beast” Hares will hang up the suit and tie in exchange for gloves to test his efforts after taking boxing up for fitness 7 months and 20kgs ago. These fighters are some of who are completing the 10 bout fight card on the sure to be action packed fight night.
See you there for yet another great evening of action packed entertainment!
